We believe that the boundaries of narrative and illustration for webcomics can be pushed beyond what anyone currently expects.

Returning readers, note the schedule change: TRO offers full-color updates, MWF.

5•1•2013. Even Dr. Nova is powerless in the face of death ...or is he?

4•15•2013. While things are looking grim for Dr. Nova, it's also interesting to observe someone from a totally different class in his natural habitat. Nathaniel's apartment is so small, in fact, that his son, Jeremiah, sleeps in the closet of the single bedroom. The common bath is at the end of the hall, shared by the whole floor. So much for life in a hilltop villa! We'll be seeing more of Nathaniel's family later; it was fun to introduce them here, though.

2•27•2013. Things got nasty in our previous scene and they're about to get worse. Dr. Nova's enemies are about to make their move. Politics, scientific genius, the struggle of humanity in a war decemated by war: We're reaching the heart of all things TRO. And with suspense comes payoff. ...Or perhaps payback?

2•18•2013. A scene that originally happened behind the scenes, that is, ones that wasn't a scene. Since we had the opportunity to, we thought the story would be better with it.

PS, I also like drawing prosthetics.

2•8•2013. Business first: Today we launch a new scene, hooray! This is a fun one, well shorter than in its original incarnation, and now with more naked men and robots.

On a more personal note, we'd like to honor our friend Collin, a giving, kind soul with a passion for music, who was taken from the world suddenly and young. The grief, anger and genuine fear that we at HQ are feeling right now will become, as it always does, part of our story. But it's in the moments of peace, in the slow, wise smiles, that Collin will live on. Death is what you make of it. Drive carefully, Citizens.

1•28•2013. It's a new year, Citizens, but you'll see that not much time has passed for our two rivals in the City of Adamant. Bruises are one thing, but some wounds go deep. Get ready for things to get a lot worse before they get better.

Oh, unless you count switching to a MWF update schedule an improvement...
